MBBS easy or tough ?

MBBS i.e ( Bachelor of Medicine , Bachelor of Surgery ) is an undergraduate program that equips aspirants with the knowledge, and practical experience required to diagnose and treat different medical conditions of patient. It is a time consuming yet demanding course, typically lasting for five to seven years, depending on the country and the curriculum . Ex - In India the tenure of MBBS is 5.5 years ( 4.5 + 1 year of internship) The course is divided into theoretical knowledge, practical training, and internships where students gain hands-on experience in hospitals. whereas in China the duration of the MBBS   changes it’s about 6 years ( 5 + 1 year of internship) The curriculum includes subjects like - Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, and etc. all essential to understanding the human body, diseases, and treatments.

WHAT IS MBBS ?


Now the answer to the question - Is MBBS   tough or easy ?

It totally depends upon mindset of the aspirant but generally in common terms it is considered as tough due to the following reason -

1. Lengthy Syllabus

The huge volume of material that has to be covered in a limited time frame can be challenging . The syllabus is extensive, covering a vide range of subjects, each having its own depth. Unlike many other undergraduate courses, MBBS  requires students to memorize detailed information about diseases, drugs, and medical procedures.

2. Intense Study Hours

MBBS students usually spend long hours in lectures, practical as well as in self-study. With addition to hospital rounds and clinical training sessions. While other courses have more lenient schedules . Managing this workload can be tough, and some students struggle with maintaining a good balance between study and personal life.

3. Exams Pressure

MBBS exams are not just about writing answers to theoretical questions it also include practical exams where students must demonstrate their understanding of skills that they posses . The pressure to perform well in both theoretical and practical exams can be challenging . Many students find MBBS exams particularly difficult because they test not only written knowledge but also the application of knowledge in real-world scenarios.

MBBS   may be considered easy for various aspirants because -
